LITTORAL TRANSMISSIONS are joined by Laura Sampson and Sam Enthoven to recount magical tales of what can happen when you dive beneath the waves. THE DIVER features folk stories from China and Japan interwoven with extracts from Noh Theatre and the unearthly song of the theremin, amidst freely improvised layers of recorded sound created using cassette tape loops and various forms of digital playback. Along with field recordings the work also utilises modular synth, acoustic instrumentation and experiments with contact mics, hydrophones, found objects and micro-electronics.

LITTORAL TRANSMISSIONS is the radio project of Stephan Barrett and Adam Kinsey which broadcasts regularly on Resonance Extra and Threads Radio. Live work has included performances at Fort Process 2018, A.P.T Gallery, New River Studios and DIY Space for London.
Storyteller Laura Sampson and sound artist Sam Enthoven are currently exploring the places where sound and story meet.
THE DIVER was performed together live online via Jitsi on 14th Feb 2021, and broadcast by Threads Radio on 20th Feb 2021.
